Flora Mae Shelton, 53, of Poolville, Texas passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015 at home. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 4 at 2:00 pm at Grace Baptist Church in Decatur.
Flora was born January 10, 1962 in Fort Worth, Texas to Harper Lee and Flossey May (Headley) Hunter. She was a patient care advocate at Wise Regional Hospital. She held an Associates of Art degree, and her hobbies included dancing, crocheting, fishing and playing poker.
She is survived by her husband of seven years, Jimmy Shelton, Jr.; sons Steven Butler and wife Shaunda, Jessie Butler and wife Nikki, sons Justin Shelton and wife Devin, and Matt Shelton; daughters Danise Lackey and husband Danny, Amy Elliston and wife Melissa Elliston, and Sandy Capehart and husband Aaron; brother Horace Hunter and wife Bonnie; sisters Dina Lackey and husband Neal, Johnna Sweet and husband Mike, and sister Pamela Ames; mother Flossey Hunter; 18 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Flora was preceded in death by her father Harper Hunter, brother Eugene Hunter, and granddaughter Annabelle Hightower.
