Eula Mae Burton

Services for Eula Mae Hutto-Burton known as Granny, 78, of Rhome, Texas awoke in Heaven on Thursday, January 17, 2019. Graveside services will be 10 am, Monday, January 21, 2019 at Smyrna Cemetery in Sunset, Texas, officiated by Reverend Steven Bernard.  Visitation will be from 4 – 6 pm on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Texas.

Eula was born in Bowie, Texas to Earl and Mabel Hutto on Wednesday, June 26, 1940. Granny was a devoted Christian who enjoyed reading her bible, attending church and listening to gospel music every day, with a little bit of old country mixed in. She will lovingly be remembered for the devotion, care, and love she had for her family, and the joy she found every time she got to spend time with any of them. Granny was what you would call a bit of a “firecracker”, and she was proud of this and was never afraid to show it. She loved children and got tickled when they would ask her for a snack or would go to her “snack drawer” to get themselves something, it was a small sweet bond she was able to share with them.

Left to cherish her memory and the time spent with her are son Donald Yarbrough and wife Tammy; sister Mabel Campbell; brother Eddy Hutto and wife Raydonna; grandchildren Corby and Karyle Edgar, Thomas and Courtney Tidwell, Anthony and Laura King, Raymond and Tera Tidwell, and Katy Wallace; great-grandchildren Landon, Faith, Nicholas, Hayden, Madelyn, Brody, Hailey, Alexis, Naythan, McKenzie, Tyler, Karmin, Emmy, Kaden, Cody, Zander, Breyden, Kylan and Presley along with numerous extended family and loving friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Mabel; brothers Earl Jr., Ray, and Roy Hutto; sister Nancy Howell; son Zane Yarbrough; grandson Kenneth Yarbrough; and great-granddaughter Kaitlynn Edgar.

Eula was an amazing and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend to all and will be greatly missed.
