Graveside services for Elvin Fox, 65, of Bridgeport, Texas will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Paradise Cemetery.

Elvin Ray Fox was born August 27, 1959, in Decatur, Texas, to Earl Fox and Violet (Wingate) Hugo, and passed away on September 19, 2024, in Bridgeport, Texas.

Elvin is survived by his friends who cherished his companionship and support. While he may no longer be with us in body, his spirit and the memories shared will forever remain in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Those left to cherish Elvin’s memory are his son James Chandler; daughter Marsha Hardin; brothers Jack Wade of Utah, Mark Fox of Decatur, Jerry Borski of Decatur, Richard Lynn Fox of Arkansas; sisters Carolyn Diffenderfer of Paradise, Ruthann Mangwa of Alvord, and Alice Fox of Waco; granddaughters Amanda Moon and Krystal Chandler; and five great-grandchildren.

Elvin is preceded in death by his wife Ruby Fox of Paradise; father Earl Fox of Decatur; mother Violet Hugo of Paradise; brothers Ricky Lee and Roy Wayne Harris; and sisters Violet Lorine Shaw and Claudette Williams.
