Funeral Mass for Elias Torres, 33, of Boyd, Texas, will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at St. John the Baptizer Catholic Church in Bridgeport, with burial to follow at Boyd Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Monday, September 16, at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, with a Rosary beginning at 7 p.m.
Elias Torres, born on June 28, 1991, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, passed away on September 8, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was the proud owner of a concrete business and earned a reputation as a very hard worker. Elias was always eager to help others and had an infectious happiness that brightened the lives of those around him.
One of his greatest joys in life was his family. He loved to brag on his three children, especially his son, “Mini Elias.” Elias cherished every moment spent with his kids, whether it was attending their games or simply enjoying time together.
Elias had a variety of hobbies and interests; he enjoyed cycling and soccer-activities that kept him active and engaged. He had a true passion for working hard, taking pride in his business and the life he built.
Elias will be remembered, not only for his dedication to his work, but also for the joy and love he radiated to his family and friends. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of twelve years, Jasani Uribe; son, Elias Jesus Torres; daughters, Sophia Camila Torres and Ellie Valeria Torres; brothers, Eliseo Torres and Julian Torres; and a host of family and friends.
La misa fúnebre de Elías Torres, de 33 años, de Boyd, Texas, se llevará a cabo a las 10 a.m. elmartes 17 de septiembre de 2024 en la iglesiacatólica de San Juan Bautista en Bridgeport, y elentierro seguirá en el cementerio de Boyd. El velorio se llevará a cabo de 6 a 8 p.m. el lunes 16 de septiembre en la Funeraria de la Familia Hudson & Torres en Bridgeport, con un Rosario a partir de las 7 p.m.
Elías Torres, nacido el 28 de junio de 1991 enSan Luis Potosí, México, falleció el 8 de septiembre de 2024 en Fort Worth, Texas. Era elorgulloso propietario de un negocio de hormigón y se ganó la reputación de ser un trabajador muy duro. Elias siempre estabaansioso por ayudar a los demás y tenía unafelicidad contagiosa que iluminaba la vida de quienes lo rodeaban.
Una de sus mayores alegrías en la vida era sufamilia. Le encantaba presumir de sus tres hijos, especialmente de su hijo, "Mini Elías". Elias apreciaba cada momento que pasaba con sus hijos, ya fuera asistiendo a sus juegos o simplemente disfrutando del tiempo juntos.
Elías tenía una variedad de pasatiempos e intereses; Disfrutaba del ciclismo y el fútbol, actividades que lo mantenían activo y comprometido. Tenía una verdadera pasión portrabajar duro, enorgulleciéndose de su negocio y de la vida que construyó.
Elías será recordado, no solo por su dedicacióna su trabajo, sino también por la alegría y elamor que irradiaba a su familia y amigos. Su legado vivirá en los corazones de quienes lo conocieron.
