Denise Acuff

Denise Lynn Acuff, 50, of Bridgeport, died April 4, 2012 in Bridgeport. A graveside service was held Friday, April 6, 2012 at East Bridgeport Cemetery. Chaplain Larry Cox officiated. Denise was born September 21, 1961 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Betty (Simpson) and Joseph L. Smith. She was an LVN. She loved animals and singing. She once sang with the international singing group, "The Sweet Adelines." Other hobbies included reading, crocheting, fishing, and cooking. She is survived by three children: Nicole Acuff of Fort Worth, Michelle Acuff of Decatur and Cody and wife Janiet of Bridgeport; and grandchildren Kaitlyn, Dawn, Destiny, Da Kota, and Matthew. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Don Smith.
