Cynthia M. Young

Cynthia M. Young, 81, of Paradise, Texas was born June 28, 1939 to George Graham Mayne and wife Mary Bess (Jackson) Mayne, and passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021 in Fort Worth, Texas.

She married Raymond E. Young on June 1, 2007 and the couple resided in Houston, Texas until moving to Paradise in April of 2011.

Cindy loved to fish with her husband Ray, and also enjoyed going to the horse races. But more than anything, with her generous nature she created a wonderful home for Ray and other family and friends to gather.

She was a big dog lover and doted over their Labrador Ruff.

Cindy was a Human Resources manager for Xerox Corporation, a company where she worked for 36 years until her retirement in 2005.

She is survived by her husband Raymond E. Young of Paradise; daughter Gayle Oates of Decatur; grandchildren Chad Oates, Jaclyn Montgomery and husband Clay, Brad Oates and wife Brittany, Calahan Pannell, Christina Meshell and husband Drew, Darren King, Wayne King, and Stephanie King; great-grandchildren Bryson, Shelby, Farrah, Keegan, Eli, Henley, Carson, and soon-to-arrive Baby Bristol.

Cindy was preceded in death by parents George and Mary Mayne; and son David Wayne King.

A memorial service for Cindy will be from 3-6 pm Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Black Creek Farms at 2324 Old Decatur Road in Decatur, Texas, 76234.
