A visitation for Clyde “C.W. /Paw” Deering, 68, of Chico, Texas, will be held from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Clyde "C.W. / Paw" Deering was born November 10, 1956, in Chico, Texas, to Clyde and Mary (Maddux) Deering, and departed this world on March 4, 2025, in Decatur, Texas. He graduated from Chico High School, Class of 1975, and soon after married Carla (Atkins) Deering in 1978, and was happily married for 47 years. Clyde was known for his love of fishing and tinkering with various projects. He cherished the moments spent with his family and enjoyed the companionship of his pet, Chico.
Clyde is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Mary Deering; brothers, Robert Deering, Perry Deering, and Gary Deering; sister, Stella Davidson; son, Jason Bruce and wife Beth; and great-grandson, Tyler Smith.
Those left to cherish Clyde’s memory are his wife, Carla Deering; daughters, Pam Bruce Norman and husband Shane, and Katrina (Deering) Williams; brother, John Deering; sisters, Elizabeth Long, Elaine Vislosky, and Sherrie Skelton; grandchildren, Kyla Christopher, Isaiah Williams, Kassy Smith and husband Austin, Joseph Williams, Rachel, Jason, and Zander Norman, and Quessie Daisy; his faithful companion, Chico; and a host of friends.
