Casimiro "Cass" Padron

A Funeral Mass for Casimiro “Cass” Padron, 45, of Decatur, Texas, will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2025, at the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Decatur, with burial following at Oaklawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-9 p.m. Thursday, January 16, at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, with a Rosary beginning at 7 p.m. 

Pallbearers will include Lazaro Padron, Ivan Ortega, Genaro Padron, Jorge Padron, Juan Patiño, Sammy Padron, and Alfredo Patiño; Honorary Pallbearers include Toño Guillen, Alan Prado Padron, and Alfredo Padron.

Casimiro "Cass" Padron was born on March 4, 1979, in San Luis de la Paz, Guanajuato, Mexico, to Epifanio “Martin” and Maria “Adolfita” (Martinez) Padron and left us on January 12, 2025, in Decatur, Texas. 

Cass was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. His warm spirit and creative talent will be remembered by many who had the pleasure of knowing him. He had a passion for drawing, enjoyed attending car shows, and was an upholstery apprentice.

Cass will be missed dearly by those whose lives he touched.

He is preceded in death by his father Epifanio “Martin” Padron of Decatur.

Those left to cherish Cass’s memory are his mother, Maria “Adolfita” Padron; brother, Lazaro Padron; sisters, Alicia Padron-Patiño, Martina Padron, and Angelica Padron; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
