Carolyn Creamer

A memorial service for Carolyn Creamer, 76, of Alvord, Texas will be 2:00 pm Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, officiated by Pastor Steve Ledford. A meal will be provided after the service by Victory Baptist Church, 4346 North Hwy 101, Sunset, Texas 76270. Carolyn passed away Thursday, February 3 at home. 

 She was born July 3, 1945 in Fort Worth, Texas to CoyLee and Billie (Dye) Pritchett.

 Carolyn was retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone, where she worked for 42 years.

 She loved music, and even sang at church as often as possible.

 She is survived by husband of 58 years, Donald Eugene ‘Butch’ Creamer; son Robert Creamer and wife Angie, daughter Chanda Green and Carl; grandchildren Chadney Morrick and Kyle Edwards, Cody Pound and Gracie Sonntag and Levi Creamer; great-grandchildren Victoria Morrick, and Bryndle Edwards; numerous other family; and many lifelong friends from Southwestern Bell.

 Butch’s mother used to babysit Carolyn when she was five years old. Who knew that ten years later, while walking home from church one evening, Butch would ask her family if he could date their daughter?

 Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Jimmy Pritchett.
