Carolyn Louise Campbell

Carolyn L. Campbell, 79, of Bridgeport, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 24, 2017.

Services for Carolyn will be at 11:00am on Monday October 2, at the Pleasant View Baptist Church in Bridgeport, Texas. Burial will follow at the Thomas Cemetery next to the church. Brother Gary Demmitt will officiate.

Carolyn was born on August 7, 1938 in Memphis, Tennessee to Homer and Ottiss (Russell) Waxler. She was married to James Campbell of Beatyville, Kentucky.  She was a housewife and enjoyed spending time with her family. Her hobbies included crafts and singing with the church choir.

She is survived by her sons James R. Campbell and wife Donna and Brian R. Campbell; brothers Leonard and Johnny Waxler; a sister Mary Timberman; grandchildren Ashley Bennett and Corey Campbell; and one great-grandchild.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband, her parents and brothers Ray and Terry Waxler.
