Cara Ann Thompson

Services for Cara Ann Thompson, 59, of Bridgeport, Texas will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, officiated by Pastor Ronnie Lawson. Visitation will be at 10:00 am one hour prior to the service. She was called to her eternal resting place on August 1.

Cara Ann, beloved sister, was born on October 10, 1960 in Decatur, Texas to Thuron and Lillian (Grooms) Thompson. She graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1979. Cara was a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). She worked numerous years at the Bridgeport Hospital caring for all her patients with love and support. Cara has worked the last several years at Stagecoach Rehabilitation Center in Bridgeport.

Cara was a Southern Baptist and a member of Cates Street Baptist Church.

Those left behind to cherish her are her brothers, Thuron Thompson Jr. of Bridgeport, and Melvin Thompson and wife Pam of Euless, Texas; several more family members and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Marylee; grandparents C.O. and Ada Thompson, and John and Raney Grooms.
