Bobby Van Hoose

Services for Bobby Ray (Ozzy) Van Hoose, 54, of Bridgeport will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 11:00 am at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, officiated by Pastor Steven Azzara. Burial will be in East Bridgeport Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 16 from 6-8 pm, also at Jones. Bobby passed away Saturday, August 13 in Decatur. Pallbearers are Kirk Green, David O’Dell, Larry Starnes, Billy Perry, Kevin St. John, and Scott Huckabee. Honorary pallbearers are Terry Leverette and Tony Lane. Bobby was born July 30, 1962 in Bridgeport to Raymond and Glenda Van Hoose. He worked in the water well service business. He leaves behind his wife of 25 years, Elisa (Story) Van Hoose; sons Chad Wolfe and wife Natasha of Mississippi, and Harley Ray Van Hoose of Bridgeport; daughters Jennifer Carter and husband Brandon of Carrollton, Texas, Patricia Gieson and Brandon of Weatherford, Texas, and Blue Jean Mitchell and husband John of Chico, Texas; parents Raymond and Glenda Van Hoose of Bridgeport; sister Brenda Russell and husband Carl; adopted daughter Catherine Cheves of San Angelo, Texas; and grandchildren Shawn-Maree, Noah, Aden, and Rylan Wolfe, Paige and Aubrey Carter, Sawyer Gieson, Sterling Mills, Pandora Mitchell, and Lily and Chloe Van Hoose. He was preceded in death by grandparents Vernon and Jessie Van Hoose, and Ira and Guyla Morgan.
