Billie Shipley

Billie Sue Shipley, 84, of Paradise passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012 in Decatur. Services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, March 9, 2012 at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 pm, also held at Jones. The service will be officiated by Pastor Terry Terry, and pallbearers are Brent Sanderson, Chuck Lambert, Jim Lambert, Kolby McConnell, Noel Gilley and Charlie McClendon. Billie was born September 16,1927 in Rhome, Texas to Bert and Minnie Elizabeth (Martin) White. She was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church. She leaves behind two sons, Tim Lambert and wife Brandi of Paradise, Texas, and Steve Lambert, also of Paradise; daughter Sharon Sanderson and husband Ron of Paradise; grandchildren Brent Sanderson and wife Patti, Briana Lambert, Tanner Lambert, Tradyn Lambert, Teagan Lambert, and Dalton Blankenship; and two great-grandchildren. Billie was preceded in death by husbands John Lambert in 1966 and Melvin Shipley in 1996, son Joe Tom Lambert, daughter Patty Sipes, and daughter-in-law Tina Lambert.
