Barbara Goode

Barbara Goode, 79, of Decatur passed away Thursday, June 22, in Decatur, Texas. Memorial service will be Monday, June 26, at 10:00 AM in the chapel at Jones Family Funeral Home Decatur.  

Barbara was born July 20, 1937 to William Hamilton Stewart and Ruth Blanche Burnham in Bloomfield, CT.  She was active in the Decatur and Bridgeport Senior Citizen's Centers. She was always checking up on her friends when they were sick or in need. Barbara never forgot any of her family or friends important life events. She loved to travel all over with her friends and family. 

She is survived by daughters, Robin Leewright and husband Kent, Jody Lingle and husband Bob; son, Tom Goode and wife Conda; grandchildren, Ruth Allen, Rhea Hayes, Charli Gaut, Carla Mae, John Lingle, Jannette Lingle, Jamie Braden, Jessy Goode; 13 great-grandchildren.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Earl Goode; her son, Todd Goode; grandson, Wil Goode; brother, Dan Stewart.
