Alice Jones

Alice Irene Jones, 75, of Newark, Texas went home to be with her Lord Friday, September 4, 2015 in Azle, Texas. Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Bluebonnet Cemetery in Colleyville, Texas. Brother Scott Strother will officiate. Visitation is from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Monday, September 7, 2015 at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Texas. Alice was born June 5, 1940 in Rochester, Texas to Mae Belle (Romines) and Virgil Neece. She worked in tile manufacturing. She loved spending time with her family, and they were truly her hobby. She lives on in the loving memory and hearts of her family and friends. She is survived by her daughters Judy Chandler of Newark and Sherry Buggar and husband John of Fort Worth, Texas; son Ray Jones and wife Felicia of Newark; grandchildren James Buggar and wife Kirstie, Kristi Butler and husband Kenny, Amanda Henson and husband Joe, Tabatha Jones, and Ray Jones and wife Tiffany; eleven great-grandchildren; sister Betty Gartman and husband Dois; and brothers Donald Wayne Neece and Virgil Neece, Jr.; sister-in-law Julie Neece; and brother-in-law Edward Storm. Alice was preceded in death by her husband W. R. Jones in May 1999; her parents; brother C. A. Neece; sister Becky Storm; and grandson Kenneth Ray Doyle.
