Alberto Munoz Fraga

Services for Alberto Muñoz Fraga, 82, of Bridgeport will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Texas, officiated by Father Reehan Antony. Burial will follow in Bridgeport’s Mexican Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Tuesday, February 25, also at the funeral home. Rosary will begin at 7:00 pm. Alberto passed away Sunday, February 23 in Bridgeport. Alberto was born April 8, 1937 in Zaragoza Coahuila, Mexico to Porfirio and Adelina (Muñoz) Fraga. He was a big jokester who enjoyed playing card games, listening to music, and watching Channel 29 (Estrella) TV. While in the rehab center Alberto attached a bicycle horn to his wheelchair. When he wasn’t participating in wheelchair races up and down the halls, a favorite pastime was to come up behind the nurses with the horn blaring, and laugh when they’d jump. He is survived by children Maria Adelita Mendoza and husband Ricardo of Carrizo Springs, Texas, Juan Jose Fraga and wife Maria of Van Alstyne, Texas, Marta Rangel and husband Ruperto of Bridgeport, Yesenia Davila and husband Carlos of Decatur, Texas, Jesus Humberto Fraga of Zaragoza Coahuila, Mexico, Leticia Leyva and husband Jesus of Dallas, Texas, Aracely Rosas and husband Jose of Bridgeport, and Saul Fraga and wife Maryela of Bridgeport; siblings Eliazar Fraga, Alicia Fraga, and Ermelinda Fraga; 31 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren. Alberto was preceded in death by his parents Porfirio and Adelina Fraga, children Jose Arturo Fraga, Daniel Fraga, Victor Alberto Fraga, Porfirio Fraga, and Celia Eledinia Monge; and siblings Paulina Martinez, Aureliano Fraga, Alejandro Fraga, and Domingo Fraga.
