A private memorial service for Abigail Yeffeth, 26, of Fort Worth, Texas, will be held at a later date.
Born on Oct. 5, 1998, Abby lived a life filled with creativity, passion, and love. She had a natural artistic gift, reflected in her talent for music, songwriting, and guitar playing. Abby’s creativity also extended to videography; while in high school, she founded the school’s livestream program and earned Best Overall at the Keller Film Festival, accomplishments she was deeply proud of. Abby was known for her chivalrous spirit and unwavering belief in love and goodness. She was a fierce advocate for treating others with kindness and respect, always striving to help people recognize their own worth. Her long-term dream was to become a wife and mother, a reflection of the nurturing heart she showed to her animals, including outdoor strays she lovingly cared for as her own. Abby also loved the outdoors – camping, fishing, and hunting were some of her favorite pastimes. Cooking, however, held a special place in her life. Those fortunate enough to share a meal prepared by Abby knew that her love and care were woven into every dish. Abby is preceded in death by her mother, Deborah Michele Rayford, her Papaw, Larry Smith, her Grandmother June Greiner and her Grandfather John Greiner.
She is survived by her loving wife, Isabella Yeffeth; father, John-Paul Greiner, who both held special places in her heart; brother, Zachary Greiner, and her cousin, Rachael Rayford Jackson, who was like a sister to her.
Some of Abby’s happiest memories were the summers spent with her Memaw, Sherryn Smith, who took Abby, Zachary, Rachael, and their cousin Austin Rayford on long RV trips to places near and far. Those adventures—filled with love, laughter, and exploration—created cherished moments Abby carried with her throughout her life.
She is further survived by many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.
